Posted on: Mon 26 Jun 2017

“It was my time for a gap year”

Adventurer of the Year, Michael Smith, went on a voyage of a lifetime. He visited 25 countries in 7 months while flying solo in a flying boat. Michael was inspired by historical airmail routes of the 1930’s.

You can now see this amazing journey on film, in “Voyage of the Southern Sun”

Michael talks with Jennie Lenman about his voyage, how it become a film and his newly launched organisation, Screens without Boarders.

You can see more pictures of Michael’s journey on his website, here.
