The History of Indigenous Players in Australian Rules

Posted on: Sun 28 May 2017

Roy Hay is an Honourary Fellow at Deakin University, sports writer and researcher. He recently published along with co-author Athas Zafiris an article in The Conversation that puts forward the argument that the historical effect of Indigenous players on the game of Australian Rules is greater and more important than if they invented it.

Roy spoke to Morning Juice presenter Ian Newton about the historical legacy.
