On This Day — 23 May

Posted on: Tue 23 May 2017

On this day in 1934, police finally tracked down and killed the infamous duo Bonnie and Clyde, the criminal couple that the public loved and the police despised.

Back in 1618, the 2nd Defenestration of Prague happened, starting a 30 year war. The 2nd Defenestration involved two Catholic Lords Regent being thrown out of a window in a religious dispute, and falling 70 feet.

And on this day the rock opera was born, with the release of The Who’s album Tommy in 1969, the first of its kind.
