Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is one of the most devastating consequences of sexual assault. Rachael Grimshaw speaks with Mariah Anzil, a survivor of sexual assault, and Professor Sandy McFarlane, the Director of the University of Adelaide’s Centre for Traumatic Stress Studies.
Mariah Anzil talks about her assault and her experiences with post-traumatic stress disorder, trigger warnings and social stigma. Sandy McFarlane simultaneously gives a professional and compassionate insight into what it is like living with the condition.
