Big Oils Plans to Drill The Bight – Peter OwenWilderness Society South Australia

Despite BP dropping its bid to drill in the Great Australian Bight following repeated  refusals from NOPSEMA to approve the plans after modelling showed potential catastrophic effects if a spill occurred other companies are now lining for their chance to turn the Bight into a major oil producing region. The Wilderness Society‘s South Australian Campaign Manager Peter Owen spoke to Ian Newton about the campaign to stop Big Oil’s plans to drill the Bight.
