Posted on: Fri 19 May 2017

Breakfast producer Olivia De Zilva joined Jennie Lenman and Ian Newton in studio to share some history.

On this day in 1536 Anne Boleyn was executed at The Tower of London. She was put to death by her husband, King Henry The 8th, after three miscarriages and was also accused of adultery and witchcraft.

Also on this day, Malcolm X was born in 1925 and spent most his life campaigning for civil rights in segregation era America.
