Australia’s Food Security Problem

It has become increasingly difficult to find Australian workers willing to take up unskilled and laborious work like vegetable picking.

Associate Professor Joanna Howe and Professor Alex Reilly, academics from the University of Adelaide Law School, have co-authored a new report along with scholars from the University of Sydney which examines labour supply challenges in the Australian vegetable industry and offers some sustainable solutions.
