Posted on: Wed 10 May 2017

Australia’s Rhythmic Gymnastics National Championships are being held at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena at the end of this month.

State teams from across Australia will be flying over to participate in the sport which combines art, linking expression with apparatus tricks and difficult body movements, including our own South Australian team made up of girls from 10 years old to senior levels.

Three of the youngest competitors are Lauren Bennett, Lucy Grice and Tahlia Tran, members of Allegro Rhythmic Gymnastics club.

Lauren and Tahlia joined Jennie Lenman to talk about balancing school with gymnastics. For more information, head here.
