A Suicide Note to our planet

Posted on: Wed 26 Apr 2017

Fracking in the South East of South Australia has caused a lot of controversy over the last five years.

Craig Wilkins from Conservation SA said, “there is a lot of concern about the level of regulation and whether it is safe enough. The more alarming evidence about this technology has only been quite recently gathered … evidence has shown that this technology has major concerns.”

He said that we are writing the biggest suicide note to the future of our planet when we keep producing more and more sources of carbon particularly when there are alternatives around it. “The solution is simple,” Wilkins says. “We don’t need this technology.”

Craig Wilkins joined Jennie Lenman to discuss just how important the issue has become.
