Revisiting the Anzac Memorial Walk

Posted on: Mon 10 Apr 2017

Have you been to Kintore Ave in the city yet, to have a look at the magnificent new Anzac Centenary Memorial Walk? If not, then you really should go for a wander and enjoy this marvellous new precinct.

It’s turned a rather drab, narrow footpath into a thing of beauty and remembrance. Rob Manton, Director of Veterans SA, and renowned architect Steve Grieve, tell us about the planning and making of the precinct.

It’s an interesting tale of teamwork, good planning, perseverance and just cause.  The end result — well, have a listen then go and see for yourself.  If you’ve already been there and looked, this interview may encourage you to go again.

Interviewer: Helen Meyer.
