Youth Parliament empowering young people

National Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views and to act on issues that affect their lives. Youth Parliament is an apolitical youth empowerment program that allows young people aged 15 to 24 to get up in their state’s parliament house to debate issues that they are passionate about.

2017’s YMCA SA Youth Parliament has just kicked off right here in Adelaide Brendon and Daeeun Won are about to be thrown in the deep end. They spoke to Breakfast about why they applied for Youth Parliament and what they expect from the program in 2017.
